SUMMARY:ECFA 2021
DESCRIPTION:ECFA 2021 – the biggest online event in the tech open-source dance game community’s history – is here! PLEASE read the following very carefully\, as this post will contain lots of very helpful information. Firstly – a review of what’s changed: A few things have been adjusted since the last announcement as a direct result of beta testing feedback and other factors. Chiefly\, the event scoring system was overhauled for better smoothness and consistency. The planned unlock system has also been shelved in favor of a bi-weekly DLC schedule for all players that will begin 4 weeks from the event’s start. Finally\, we just didn’t have the resources to focus on a team event this year. This doesn’t mean that unlocks or team events won’t happen in future editions of ECFA Online\, but we wanted to narrow the focus of this year’s event given the massive shift in direction in hopes of nailing the experience. Leaderboard and Chart Reference Guide The main spreadsheet tracker for ECFA 2021 will serve three purposes. Firstly\, it will house all the scores submitted throughout the event and organize players onto a singular leaderboard. Secondly\, it will show detailed statistics for each player’s ranking for everyone’s reference. Lastly\, the spreadsheet will include a very handy chart reference guide containing all the charts in the event\, their tech ratings and annotations\, and source pack info. The main tabs in the spreadsheet are: Chart Reference: chart reference guide for the ECFA 2021 base pack\, plus DLC as it gets released. ECFA Participants: a list of all confirmed participants for the event ECFA Score Sheet (raw steps): this is where all your step information from the scores you submit gets loaded ECFA Score Sheet – DP% Calcs: this is where DP% are calculated for each score and compared to minimum requirements for the block difficulty level. ECFA Score Sheet – Raw ECFA Point Calcs: this is where DP% turns into raw ECFA points Raw Score Summary: a summary of all players’ raw scores submitted in the event ECFA Player Score Summary: a summary of all players’ ECFA scores (i.e. after applying appropriate weights for top 50\, top 100\, outside top 100) ECFA Leaderboard: main event leaderboard for the event. Now\, for some VERY IMPORTANT INFO. Players need to sign up using the sign up form in order to participate in the event. If you are in the ECFA Discord and plan to utilize that medium for posting scores\, please make your username for the channel match the alias shown in the leaderboard. This is to reduce the chance of errors or miscommunication. Players may submit scores through the group Discord\, Facebook group\, or by DMing an event staff member. All score posts\, regardless of medium\, will need to be made by uploads of screenshots of results screens. Screenshots must clearly show Waterfall judgement grades and ECFA point totals. We have identified a potential solution that would allow us to use the ECFA Summary Screen built into the theme (more on that below)\, but for now\, this is what we’ll need. Score posts in Discord need to be made in the ecfa-2021-score-dumps channel\, and may be made by simply uploading photos to the channel. A member of the score tracker team will mark the scores as uploaded with a green “checkmark” react once they have been uploaded to the leaderboard. Score posts on Facebook should be made in the ECFA 2021 group. Please put your alias in your post as text. The first time you load into the new version of the theme\, any ECFA 2021 scores you had recorded will be cleared. You shouldn’t have had any anyway\, but this mainly affects beta testers who removed the lock on score tracking. The base pack is separated into ECFA 2021 folders by difficulty; however\, you may sort charts as you wish\, as long as each song folder starts with “ECFA 2021”. This means\, for example\, you can combine all charts into one big pack\, or separate them some other way if you like. If you rearrange your ECFA 2021 folders in some way\, any charts that were removed from your game based on folder path will have the recorded scores cleared. This in no way affects your event status or rank\, as the leaderboard sheet governs that. Likewise\, any duplicate charts within ECFA 2021 folders will not have their scores consolidated into one; if you play a chart from multiple places\, it will record them separately. To view your overall ECFA 2021 summary in the theme\, press MenuLeft + MenuRight on song select to open the sort menu\, and find “View ECFA Scores”. This option will only appear if one of the active players has at least one score recorded for the event. At the summary screen\, you can scroll through your scores with MenuLeft and MenuRight\, as well as take a screenshot with the Select button. Note that the event does not rely on the theme side score tracking. It’s there for your own convenience\, and likewise\, exploiting any of this stuff locally won’t do anything for you in the actual event. If you’d like to volunteer to be a score tracker – let us know! We could use the help. There have been a large number of sign-ups in the last 24 hours! If your name or alias isn’t on the sheet\, don’t panic – everything should get updated over the next several days. You’ll be able to play and submit scores\, they just won’t be on the sheet right away. Apologies! If you notice your name in the leaderboard sheet doesn’t look quite right or would like to change it\, ping McJeebie and he’ll fix it. With all that out of the way\, here are some important links: ECFA 2021 Base Pack: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1213iPDGmrDeJ-yK74StkjH8c7linpipX?usp=sharing ECFA 2021 Theme: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1L-PEUf2XhVk7ng6s1nASg7rVVR9_2HpQ/view?usp=sharing Sign-up form: https://forms.gle/JjKnbYue7AzqZzwW7 Full rules: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xZF0vxxg-pMOgbiJqOdQxad0gM70tJlXwmCSCLnGxHk/edit?usp=sharing Leaderboard and chart reference: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ft-Jce-ys8V4zbKxCXgwsSOj7wKNaGzvCBPOR-WC-lQ/edit?usp=sharing There are a lot of people that had a hand in making this event possible. Our beta testers Omid Farivar\, Tommy Reyes\, Leon Charles Brunson\, Pattianne Stone\, Ekaterina Ageeva\, and Alessandro Tenorio-Bucci provided invaluable feedback that helped us validate where we wanted to go and make ECFA 2021 a better experience – thanks very much for volunteering! Also\, big thanks to Dalton Runberg\, Brandon Sudzius\, and other step artists for contributing graphics – much appreciated! The ECFA 2021 event development team of  Dyle Kobay\, Logan Edward Barnes\, Trevor Whitehurst\, Tj Barber\, Leon Charles Brunson\, Mason Hester\, C Oliver Wing\, and SteveReen have spent countless hours since July 2020 thinking this thing up and getting everything ready – every member of the team have poured their soul into this project for the community\, and we are so excited to see it come to life. Finally\, SteveReen has gone several extra miles to make sure the user experience inside the ECFA 2021 theme is as good as it can be – we couldn’t have done this without you\, Steve. If you are ready\, let’s take the plunge down the Waterfall… the revolution is now.

SUMMARY:In The Groove Eurocup Online 2019
DESCRIPTION:Hey!Welcome to the In The Groove Eurocup Online 2019 page!\nThis year the tournament will be held using a new online format.\nWhat does that mean?\nTLDR The tournament includes two major parts: offline qualifiers and an online real-time event. Qualifiers can be played on any machine you have access to\, while for the actual event on 27-28 July a list of locations for European countries will be provided. Players will compete in precision and stamina.\nThe point of this event is both bringing together local players and establishing contacts between different European communities. We’re still accepting locations\, so if your country is not in the list and you have a nice place for people to play — feel free to fill the form!\nWe’ll post more information concerning the tournament soon\, so stay tuned!\nFor more info\, check: https://itgec2019.com/

SUMMARY:Midwest Coast Stamina FA 3
DESCRIPTION:Qualifiers due July 15th\, 2018This will be the third iteration of the Midwest Coast Stamina FA tournaments hosted by Ryan. Ryan and I (Kyle) will both be running this collaboratively\, and for conveniences of many potential entrants\, it will be hosted instead more toward the east coast this time at my own home.\nThere will be over $1000 in cash prizes given to the top 4 winners.\nWe will take the top 16 entrants for this event\, similar to last time. You get seeded based on your cumulative ranking between the 2 qualifying songs. Here are your qualifying songs:\nCrossroad (Cirque du Enzo) – must be played on FA+ or ECFA mode on SM5\nSmashup (Stamina Showcase) – must be played on regular FA\nDecents and way offs may be turned off for both songs\nCMod\, hide background\, and hide mines allowed for both\nMirror is permitted\nSlow rate mods are prohibited\, faster are permitted\nHere is the download for the qualifiers (offset set to ITG 9ms)\nhttps://drive.google.com/open?id=19bnCk-CTz3522l8wCHGHZo0hQJB2JTMT\nSpreadsheet for scores:\nhttps://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1heq8OsLbmHB8oHsC3z47pYWZyR3w1dZzUHulQYlAe1I/edit#gid=0\nYou may not submit previous scores from before this qualifier announcement.\n– Total blues will be counted for Crossroad only.\n– Smashup will be normal ITG scoring percentage.\n– Qualifiers due July 15th\, 2018\n– Everyone who competed in ECS 6 automatically receive a qualifier ranking. \n– There will be 16 competitors determined from the following ranking:\nfirst by qualifier score then by place in ECS 6\n– If you competed in ECS 6 but don’t play the qualifier\, you qualify below everyone who did play the qualifier and below anyone who placed higher than you in ECS 6\nEvents:\nJust like MWCSFA 1 and 2\, there will be 2 individual sets with time slots chosen in order of qualifications ranking and a 1v1 portion\, only this time it will be using a swiss format.. We will also try to incorporate a PIU side tournament for stamina (no qualifying score required).\nThe packs for the events will be released within a week of qualifiers ending. Expect it to be very similar to ECS 6.5/MWCSFA2 with modifications.\nStamina FA+ 1v1\nSimilarly to ECFA\, this will be a swiss 1v1 with a top 16. If we do not get an even number appropriate to swiss\, this will be changed to double elimination\n– The event will be 1v1 using the Swiss format \n– It will be on FA+ or ECFA mode on SM5\n– Swiss format;; in this format\, there will be 4 rounds which all players will compete against another player of the same win/loss ratio \n– During later rounds\, players will never play the same person twice. \n– For example\, after the first round\, everyone will be either 1 to 0 or 0 to 1.\n– For the second round\, the 0 to 1s will be assigned to play one another\, while the 1 to 0s \nwill be assigned to play one another as well\, all based on seeding. \n– The same thing will happen for future rounds\, being that people play each other with the same wins/losses. \n– This format allows for players to never be eliminated\, have the same amount of playing opportunity as everyone else\, and never be stuck playing the same person twice. \n– The higher seed will get choice of song protection\, song veto\, or side (more specifics below) \n– The higher seed will choose first\, then the lower seed will choose one of the remaining two options\, and the third will fall back on the higher seed \n– Song selection (vetoing and protection phase) will be based on card draw. 5 Cards will be drawn\, 2 will be protected first (determined by who decides order)\, and 2 will be \neliminated (also determined by who decides order\, one by each player\, exactly like how storm and other big events are set up) \n– The 5 songs will then be played in the order they are drawn\, best 2 out of 3 the decide winner. \n– I will allow 2 warm up songs (1 song chosen by each player) before each round starts (nothing that exceeds 2 and a half minutes). \n– No mines is permitted \n– Greats\, Decents and way offs will be disabled unless players agree to have them on\n– Hide background and mirror are permitted \n– The packs consists of 12s to 17s\, varying in BPMs ranging from 130 to 220ish\n– You may use CMods for any song\n-If we do not have the ability to do swiss\, we will do double elimination.\n-Scoring is 2 for blue\, 1 for white\, 0 for excellent\, and -1 for each mine hit\, roll/freeze dropped\, or miss\nPure Stamina FA+\n– You will be given a one hour time slot to get as many blue fantastics as you can.\n– This will also be played on FA+ or ECFA mode on SM5\n– You may hold the green button to back out and have your blue fantastics counted. \n– Each song will only be allowed once. \n– Just like 1v1\, greats\, way offs\, and decents may be turned off.\n– Faster rate mods permitted\nFA Set Output\n– Your 6 best scores in a single set are summed up to calculate your final score.\n– Out of those 6 songs\, \n1 must be in the bpm range of [150-160)\n1 must be in the bpm range of [160-170)\n1 must be in the bpm range of [180-190)\n1 must be in the bpm range of [190-200)\n1 must be in the bpm range of [200-220)\nThe last song may be from any bpm range\n– Your score calculation will be similar to MWCSFA2 FA Raw Output calculation.\n– For reference:\nhttps://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Weyimnqyc3nbS5Jj1xiuUxKRraMP0GYHrkaMufj0OqY/edit#gid=1456700467\n– Percentage is exponential. For example:\nIf you get 99.00% you will get around 90% of total possible points for a given song.\nIf you get 95.00% you will get around 60% of total possible points for a given song.\nIf you get 90.00% you will get around 30% of total possible points for a given song.\nPump Raw Output\n– This is a side tournament with Pump it Up. \n– It follows the exact same rules and scoring as the ECS Raw Output sets but played on Pump it Up 5 panel. \n– Will update this with more info later.\nOverall winner\n– Overall Midwest Coast Stamina FA 3 champion will be determined from all of the ITG tournaments. \n– There will be prizes for top 4\, including trophies and cash\n– Placing is determined by the lowest total rank from the 3 ITG tournaments. e.g. 1st + 4th + 3rd = 8 points. \n– Tie breakers are as follows in order of resolution: your best rank in any tournament\, most number of the best ranks\, least worst rank\, fewest worst ranks\, placement in double elimination.\ne.g.\nP1 ranks 1st\, 1st\, 3rd\nP2 ranks 2nd\, 1st\, 2nd\nP1 would win overall.

SUMMARY:Cupcake Timing Festival v2
DESCRIPTION:Facebook Event PageThis is the second edition of the Cupcake Timing Festival. This is an open level and open timing competition for the females of the community\, so no qualifiers (there will be a placement song at the time of the tournament). Difficulties will range from 6-12s with a lower and upper division. The idea of this is to bring females together with a low pressure atmosphere\, where community is the most important part of the event. There will be no remote event because of this. I kind of wanted this to be more along the lines of a hang out and vacation among the females of the community\, thus the three day event with a short get-a-way during the time here.\nI am still considering a DDR tournament\, but the catch is DDR songs would have to played on stock ITG\, so probably cannot use the Ace theme (I am not up to date on how this works and would need a second person to help run this end). If you are interested having that\, please comment else I will not know.\nScoring will be based on number of fantastics and excellents\, dropped holds and rolls\, and mines hit. Keeping it simple. Will be using Simply Love theme for stock ITG. Awards for all Participants and separate awards for top three in each division.

SUMMARY:Summer Fairytale: a couples DDR A remote tournament
DESCRIPTION:Facebook Event Page— more details soon! —\n— July + August 2018 — \n– Play together + compete remotely\n– Upper + lower skill divisions\n– Additional mixed division\, which must include a female player\n– Participate in multiple unique teams\n– Complete team challenges for more points\n– Prizes for top teams\n– Play with others you don’t normally play with!\ntournament rules\nThis is a couples tournament — meaning you and a teammate will be competing against other pairs of DDR players! You and your teammate must physically play your sets together as P1 and P2\, and provide photos of your scores on the designated tournament songs for entry.\nParticipants will do their best on a selection of songs between July 1\, 2018 and August 10\, 2018. This is a remote tournament\, meaning you will play as much as you want\, at any time throughout the tournament dates on your local DDR A machine.\nTo participate\, you may enter either the upper division or the lower division. However\, you may enter as many times as you’d like with different teammates to form unique teams.\nLower division will have songs with difficulties from 9 to 13.\nUpper division will have songs with difficulties up to 18.\nYou may also enter the mixed division. Mixed division teams must include at least one woman-identifying competitor. This may be entered in addition to either upper division or lower division\, or you and your teammate may choose to exclusively compete in the mixed division. This may also be entered as many times as you’d like with different teammates forming unique teams.\nMixed division will have songs with difficulties up to 17.\nThere will be a total of six songs for each division\, divided into two specific sets of three songs each. The songs as must be done in a complete set as outlined\, but you may play them in any order desired.\nExtra stage may be used to replay one of the songs in the set to improve it.\nEach song will have a set difficulty to play on\, and may require you and your teammate to play the same song on different difficulties.\nIf the song has different difficulties listed\, you and your teammate will individually determine on a song by song basis who will play which difficulty.\nExample:\nset 1 is song A (12 rating)\, song B (10 and 11 rating)\, song C (12 and 13 rating)\nplayer 1 and player 2 will both play song A as a 12\nplayer 2 chooses to play song B‘s 11 and song C‘s 12\nplayer 1 will play song B‘s 10 and song C‘s 13\nWe recommend discussing before you play where your and your teammates strengths lie! Try to talk through in advance who will play which difficulty.\nYou may also choose to change who plays which difficulty for later sets. Even if you have previously submitted scores\, you can replay the set and change who plays on which difficulty. Try it out in different ways!\nYou must play on an official DDR A machine. No Stepmania scores will be accepted. Any modifiers may be used with the exception of Cut/Little.\nscore submission\nYour EX score is what matters here – it’s at the bottom on the song results screen. Your total EX score for each set will translate into a certain amount of points\, based on where you rank against others. EX scoring works as follows:\nMarvelous: 3 points\nPerfect: 2 points\nGreat: 1 point\nGood: 0 point\nMiss: 0 point\nOK: 3 points\nNG: 0 point\nYou are encouraged to submit improvements as often as you play.\nFailing scores still count!\nFor score submissions\, please include photos of each song’s results screen AND a photo of the summary screen\, showing overall set results (a total of four pictures are needed per set).\nMake sure to discuss with your teammate who will be responsible for submitting scores\, and decide on a team name together!\nPhotos must clearly show your e-amuse DDR tag\, your teammates DDR tag\, and EX score for both players.\nPlease submit scores through Google Forms (link TBD!)\nPoints will be awarded per set on a scaled basis\, using total combined EX score. \nPoints are distributed using the following scale:\n1st: 10 points\n2nd: 9 points\n3rd: 8 points\n4th: 7 points\n5th: 6 points\n6th: 5 points\n7th: 4 points\n8th: 3 points\n9th: 2 points\n10th or lower: 1 point\nDivision winners will be determined by total division points earned at conclusion of the tournament.\nIf teams are tied by amount of points\, the tied teams total combined EX score across both sets will be used as a tiebreaker.\nAlthough you may enter with as many unique teams as you like\, each individual may only place ONCE\, and this impacts the entire team.\nExample:\nplayer a and player b have a total of 4200 in ex score\nplayer a and player c have a total of 4175 in ex score\nplayer d and player e have a total of 4105 ex score\nplayer e and player c have a total of 3995 in ex score\nplayer f and player g have a total of 3910 in ex score\nThe division top 3 will place as follows\, due to the individual placement rule:\nFirst place: player A and player B\nSecond place: player D and player E\nThird place: player F and player G\nThere will be additional opportunities to earn points by completing tournament challenges with your team.\netiquette \nYou must play within your appropriate division. As a rule of thumb\, if you are capable of consistently passing 14s and have passed a few 15s\, you should enter the upper division. This is a friendly competition\, but we still want competition to be fair.\nUse this tournament as an opportunity to meet new people\, play with others you don’t normally play with\, and to push yourself to get the best scores you can!\nHarassment or bullying of other participants will result in disqualification. This is at the discretion of tournament organizers.\nScores must be from the time period of the tournament and must be submitted on time.

DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to announce Cyber Cypher #1\, an online #DDR freestyle tournament! pic.twitter.com/rTYgW1kQ39\n— Freestyle Takeover (@FSTakeover) April 10\, 2018 \nWe’re excited to announce Cyber Cypher #1\, an online DDR freestyle tournament! We wanted to reach out to freestylers outside of California and a remote event sounded like the perfect way to showcase talent from all across the world.\nTo enter\, choose from one of the following three songs and record a performance to it between now and May 5th:\n• Dance Celebration (DDR X)\n• Hands Up In The Air (DDR A)\n• Try 2 Luv U (SuperNOVA)\nFull rules are as follows: \nCyber Cypher is open to everyone on Earth\, regardless of region.\nTo enter\, record yourself performing a routine to one of the three Cyber Cypher eligible songs. Performances may be done on a Dance Dance Revolution arcade machine or on a home version pad using either a console version of the game or a DDR simulator/emulator.\nAll performance videos may be e-mailed directly to FreestyleTakeover@gmail.comor uploaded online. A link to the upload must be provided to any of Freestyle Takeover’s social media channels using the hashtag #DDRFreestyle.\nAll performances must have been recorded between 4/9/18 and 5/5/18. (No\, we’re not accepting a video of a routine you did back in 2014. Re-perform that bad boy for the spirit of competition.)\nPerformer must complete their performance with a passing grade per the game’s scoring system. A failed grade performance is not eligible for submission.\nAll performances must adhere to general guidelines of decency. Keep it PG\, maybe PG-13. (If the material/tone of the performance wouldn’t be allowed on an episode of The Simpsons\, you might want to rethink your idea.)\nAll performances will be judged by Freestyle Takeover staff. Each judge will grade the performances based on (but not limited to) showmanship\, creativity\, musicality\, and presentation. The competitor’s game score will not be factored into judgment.\nAfter the final performance of the competition\, each judge will submit their top 10 candidates using the following voting vector (14\, 9\, 8\, 7\, 6\, 5\, 4\, 3\, 2\, 1)\, where 1st place receives 14 points\, 2nd place receives 9 points and so on.\nAll judges’ decisions are final and are not subject to protest. Final tallies will be available per request after the competition is over.\nEntrants who submit a video to the Cyber Cypher are agreeing to allow Freestyle Takeover to potentially use their footage and/or likeness in future promotional and marketing material.\nRules are subject to change at the discretion of Freestyle Takeover. \nPrizes for this are forthcoming but we guarantee they will be worth your while. Start brainstorming your routines and stay tuned for more!

SUMMARY:East Coast Stamina 6.5
DESCRIPTION:Visit Groovestats for full info on East Coast Stamina 6.5.What is ECS6.5?:\nECS6.5 is the eleventh (after ECS1\, 2\, 2.5\, 3\, 3.5\, 4\, 4.5\, 5\, 5.5\, and 6) tournament in the East Coast Stamina series. The objective is to try to clear as many of the hardest stamina charts as you can within the format of the tournament. It is a team tournament\, and you may enter it on a team of up to three individuals. \nOnce again\, since this isn’t a “main” ECS (like\, one of the whole number ones)\, it’s going to be split into an upper and lower division to make it more accessible to a wider range of participants. \nWhen:\nEntrants can submit their sets at any time BEFORE May 14th\, 2018 to count towards the ranking. Within that timeframe\, when and where they do this is at their discretion\, so long as they adhere to the rules detailed further on. \nWhere:\nWherever. Any ITG machine that’s running an ITG theme and not the StomperZ one Stepmania 5 is acceptable as long as you’re using ITG’s life/scoring mechanics (using the Simply Love theme on Competitive mode is the easiest way to accomplish that). \nWhat are the prizes?: \nEach player that competes gets a special ECS6.5 poster.\nThe members of each team in the lower division that breaks 1100 total points between their marathons and their Raw Output set (after scaling) get a special ECS6.5 shirt.\nThe members of each team in the upper division that breaks 700 total points between their marathons and their Raw Output set (after scaling) get a more special ECS6.5 shirt.\nEach member of a team of my choosing from each division that I note as having performed especially well relative to their skill level gets a special\, three of a kind poster.\nEach member of the winning team of each division gets a special\, three of a kind poster and a trophy. \nKeep in mind it’ll probably take me a while to mail everything once the tournament is over. \nFormat:\nECS6.5 is a team tournament split into an Upper Division and a Lower Division\, with two portions to the tournament for each division.  \nTeams are comprised of up to three individuals total; deciding who to team up with is up to you.\nIt is strongly preferred that you enter with people you are able to play on the same machine with\, but in special cases\, if you advise me in advance\, I will permit you to play on separate machines. This is really only an issue for the Raw Output set; you must coordinate between your other team members if they’re not playing at the same place as you to ensure that you are not playing songs at the same time on different machines\, or else you’re giving yourself an unfair advantage over other competitors. I would recommend streaming to each other if possible or at least using messaging to make sure you know when you can start your next song. Again\, it is strictly against the rules for two different people on a team to be playing songs at the same time during Raw Output. You may also take the approach of just dividing your four hour block up amongst your team\, but it goes without saying this puts you at a disadvantage in terms of efficiency.\nEach entrant can enter on up to two teams for EACH of the Upper and Lower divisions\, but they are not eligible for duplicate prizes (meaning if I were to enter on the maximum of four teams\, and all of the teams happen to win the same prize\, I only get that prize one time rather than four times)\nThere is no concept of ‘local ranking’ versus ‘remote ranking’ in this tournament– each division has its own ranking\, period\, and all teams entering are eligible for winnings regardless of where they play.\nThe lower division has songs in it from 12s-17s and marathons made up of 13s. It is recommended that you at least be comfortable with 13s if you’re going to enter. If you/your team fails the marathon(s)\, it will still count towards your team’s marathon total\, however.\nThe upper division has songs from 16s-24s and a marathon with charts ranging from 16s to 21s. It’s recommended that you be able to pass at least a few lower 18s on command if you’re going to enter the upper division.\nC-mods are legal. Mirror/other turn mods are legal. No Mines is legal. Any mods that add or subtract arrows\, holds\, or rolls– those are not.\nYou may rate mod songs\, but only at rates that are at or above 1.0x\, and you will not receive any point bonus for doing so.\nBracketing/mashing is not permitted in any portion of the tournament.\nYou must compete on ITG. The StomperZ theme is not allowed due to different life and scoring metrics.\nYou may turn off way-offs and decents (it will only really help you in the marathon portion\, though).

SUMMARY:Stamina RPG 2
DESCRIPTION:http://groovestats.com/ECS7/Rules\nStamina RPG 2 is an online competition for In The Groove 2 that\, in addition to being a tournament in its own right\, serves as the qualifier for ECS7 and for FCS3. Difficulties range from 12-footers to songs so challenging that almost no one can pass them. To participate\, you must register on Groovestats first. Once you’ve done that and you’ve downloaded the songs for the qualifier\, after logging in\, you can go to the Passes page to view your current status and enter in any new passes.\nYou will accrue experience points toward your overall level and skill points towards specific BPM ranges for each song you pass\, as well as Tournament Points (TP)– a new addition to Stamina RPG 2– which will determine your qualifying rank for ECS7. For each BPM range above 160\, the three charts you have passed in that range with the highest TP value will contribute to your total TP.\nYou can view the current rankings by going to the Ranking page. The Quests page will provide a log of quests that participants can undertake for rewards\, and hints on how to complete them. Finally\, if you’d like to view the song list without logging in\, the Song List page is the place to do that.\nThere are a few rules to note: \nBracketing/mashing is strictly prohibited for any songs in the qualifier.\nYou may play with way offs/decents disabled\, but these will be enabled for the actual tournament.\nYou must play on the normal judge and lifebar settings for ITG (Judge and Life difficulty 4). If you’re playing on the Simply Love theme on SM5\, you’ll need to ensure that you’re using a version that has accurate life mechanics (‘Competitive Mode’ handles that on the most recent versions).\nNo scores obtained prior to 05/14/2018 will be accepted.\nMake sure that you have screenshots of every score. If a pass is questioned and you can’t provide a screenshot\, you’ll lose credit for it.\nRate mods below 1.0x rate are not acceptable. \nPrizes\nThe 16 players WORLDWIDE who have earned the highest total TP by September 2nd at 11:59 PM EST are invited to compete in East Coast Stamina 7.\nThe top 12 FRENCH players and top 4 EUROPEAN players who have earned the highest total TP by July 31st at 11:59 PM CEST are invited to compete in French Coast Stamina 3.\nPrizes will also be awarded to the top 4 players who have accrued the highest total EXP by September 2nd at 11:59 PM EST: \n1st Place: $400 USD\n2nd Place: $200 USD\n3rd Place: $100 USD\n4th Place: $50 USD
