SUMMARY:Stamina RPG 2
DESCRIPTION:http://groovestats.com/ECS7/Rules\nStamina RPG 2 is an online competition for In The Groove 2 that\, in addition to being a tournament in its own right\, serves as the qualifier for ECS7 and for FCS3. Difficulties range from 12-footers to songs so challenging that almost no one can pass them. To participate\, you must register on Groovestats first. Once you’ve done that and you’ve downloaded the songs for the qualifier\, after logging in\, you can go to the Passes page to view your current status and enter in any new passes.\nYou will accrue experience points toward your overall level and skill points towards specific BPM ranges for each song you pass\, as well as Tournament Points (TP)– a new addition to Stamina RPG 2– which will determine your qualifying rank for ECS7. For each BPM range above 160\, the three charts you have passed in that range with the highest TP value will contribute to your total TP.\nYou can view the current rankings by going to the Ranking page. The Quests page will provide a log of quests that participants can undertake for rewards\, and hints on how to complete them. Finally\, if you’d like to view the song list without logging in\, the Song List page is the place to do that.\nThere are a few rules to note: \nBracketing/mashing is strictly prohibited for any songs in the qualifier.\nYou may play with way offs/decents disabled\, but these will be enabled for the actual tournament.\nYou must play on the normal judge and lifebar settings for ITG (Judge and Life difficulty 4). If you’re playing on the Simply Love theme on SM5\, you’ll need to ensure that you’re using a version that has accurate life mechanics (‘Competitive Mode’ handles that on the most recent versions).\nNo scores obtained prior to 05/14/2018 will be accepted.\nMake sure that you have screenshots of every score. If a pass is questioned and you can’t provide a screenshot\, you’ll lose credit for it.\nRate mods below 1.0x rate are not acceptable. \nPrizes\nThe 16 players WORLDWIDE who have earned the highest total TP by September 2nd at 11:59 PM EST are invited to compete in East Coast Stamina 7.\nThe top 12 FRENCH players and top 4 EUROPEAN players who have earned the highest total TP by July 31st at 11:59 PM CEST are invited to compete in French Coast Stamina 3.\nPrizes will also be awarded to the top 4 players who have accrued the highest total EXP by September 2nd at 11:59 PM EST: \n1st Place: $400 USD\n2nd Place: $200 USD\n3rd Place: $100 USD\n4th Place: $50 USD

SUMMARY:Summer Fairytale: a couples DDR A remote tournament
DESCRIPTION:Facebook Event Page— more details soon! —\n— July + August 2018 — \n– Play together + compete remotely\n– Upper + lower skill divisions\n– Additional mixed division\, which must include a female player\n– Participate in multiple unique teams\n– Complete team challenges for more points\n– Prizes for top teams\n– Play with others you don’t normally play with!\ntournament rules\nThis is a couples tournament — meaning you and a teammate will be competing against other pairs of DDR players! You and your teammate must physically play your sets together as P1 and P2\, and provide photos of your scores on the designated tournament songs for entry.\nParticipants will do their best on a selection of songs between July 1\, 2018 and August 10\, 2018. This is a remote tournament\, meaning you will play as much as you want\, at any time throughout the tournament dates on your local DDR A machine.\nTo participate\, you may enter either the upper division or the lower division. However\, you may enter as many times as you’d like with different teammates to form unique teams.\nLower division will have songs with difficulties from 9 to 13.\nUpper division will have songs with difficulties up to 18.\nYou may also enter the mixed division. Mixed division teams must include at least one woman-identifying competitor. This may be entered in addition to either upper division or lower division\, or you and your teammate may choose to exclusively compete in the mixed division. This may also be entered as many times as you’d like with different teammates forming unique teams.\nMixed division will have songs with difficulties up to 17.\nThere will be a total of six songs for each division\, divided into two specific sets of three songs each. The songs as must be done in a complete set as outlined\, but you may play them in any order desired.\nExtra stage may be used to replay one of the songs in the set to improve it.\nEach song will have a set difficulty to play on\, and may require you and your teammate to play the same song on different difficulties.\nIf the song has different difficulties listed\, you and your teammate will individually determine on a song by song basis who will play which difficulty.\nExample:\nset 1 is song A (12 rating)\, song B (10 and 11 rating)\, song C (12 and 13 rating)\nplayer 1 and player 2 will both play song A as a 12\nplayer 2 chooses to play song B‘s 11 and song C‘s 12\nplayer 1 will play song B‘s 10 and song C‘s 13\nWe recommend discussing before you play where your and your teammates strengths lie! Try to talk through in advance who will play which difficulty.\nYou may also choose to change who plays which difficulty for later sets. Even if you have previously submitted scores\, you can replay the set and change who plays on which difficulty. Try it out in different ways!\nYou must play on an official DDR A machine. No Stepmania scores will be accepted. Any modifiers may be used with the exception of Cut/Little.\nscore submission\nYour EX score is what matters here – it’s at the bottom on the song results screen. Your total EX score for each set will translate into a certain amount of points\, based on where you rank against others. EX scoring works as follows:\nMarvelous: 3 points\nPerfect: 2 points\nGreat: 1 point\nGood: 0 point\nMiss: 0 point\nOK: 3 points\nNG: 0 point\nYou are encouraged to submit improvements as often as you play.\nFailing scores still count!\nFor score submissions\, please include photos of each song’s results screen AND a photo of the summary screen\, showing overall set results (a total of four pictures are needed per set).\nMake sure to discuss with your teammate who will be responsible for submitting scores\, and decide on a team name together!\nPhotos must clearly show your e-amuse DDR tag\, your teammates DDR tag\, and EX score for both players.\nPlease submit scores through Google Forms (link TBD!)\nPoints will be awarded per set on a scaled basis\, using total combined EX score. \nPoints are distributed using the following scale:\n1st: 10 points\n2nd: 9 points\n3rd: 8 points\n4th: 7 points\n5th: 6 points\n6th: 5 points\n7th: 4 points\n8th: 3 points\n9th: 2 points\n10th or lower: 1 point\nDivision winners will be determined by total division points earned at conclusion of the tournament.\nIf teams are tied by amount of points\, the tied teams total combined EX score across both sets will be used as a tiebreaker.\nAlthough you may enter with as many unique teams as you like\, each individual may only place ONCE\, and this impacts the entire team.\nExample:\nplayer a and player b have a total of 4200 in ex score\nplayer a and player c have a total of 4175 in ex score\nplayer d and player e have a total of 4105 ex score\nplayer e and player c have a total of 3995 in ex score\nplayer f and player g have a total of 3910 in ex score\nThe division top 3 will place as follows\, due to the individual placement rule:\nFirst place: player A and player B\nSecond place: player D and player E\nThird place: player F and player G\nThere will be additional opportunities to earn points by completing tournament challenges with your team.\netiquette \nYou must play within your appropriate division. As a rule of thumb\, if you are capable of consistently passing 14s and have passed a few 15s\, you should enter the upper division. This is a friendly competition\, but we still want competition to be fair.\nUse this tournament as an opportunity to meet new people\, play with others you don’t normally play with\, and to push yourself to get the best scores you can!\nHarassment or bullying of other participants will result in disqualification. This is at the discretion of tournament organizers.\nScores must be from the time period of the tournament and must be submitted on time.

SUMMARY:Cupcake Timing Festival v2
DESCRIPTION:Facebook Event PageThis is the second edition of the Cupcake Timing Festival. This is an open level and open timing competition for the females of the community\, so no qualifiers (there will be a placement song at the time of the tournament). Difficulties will range from 6-12s with a lower and upper division. The idea of this is to bring females together with a low pressure atmosphere\, where community is the most important part of the event. There will be no remote event because of this. I kind of wanted this to be more along the lines of a hang out and vacation among the females of the community\, thus the three day event with a short get-a-way during the time here.\nI am still considering a DDR tournament\, but the catch is DDR songs would have to played on stock ITG\, so probably cannot use the Ace theme (I am not up to date on how this works and would need a second person to help run this end). If you are interested having that\, please comment else I will not know.\nScoring will be based on number of fantastics and excellents\, dropped holds and rolls\, and mines hit. Keeping it simple. Will be using Simply Love theme for stock ITG. Awards for all Participants and separate awards for top three in each division.

You both must agree on the four songs you wish to play. This is for time saving purposes\n– The higher FA+ seed groups will get to choose first which day they’d like to play their set (Friday\, Saturday\, or Sunday)\n– Each group will be allotted 2 replays they can either use by themselves after their set of 4 songs or with their partner if they wish.\n– These 2 replays can be used in the following ways:\nReplay 1 or 2 of the chosen songs\nPlay a different song or songs out of the remaining choices in the pack\n– I will always take your best score\, so even if you do worse on a replay\, I will take the better score\n– We are only tracking blue percentage; this means mines can be turned off as well as greats\, decents\, and way offs.\n– Your primary focus is the blue fantastic window; it’s your job to pick your best strength out of the availabile songs and skill sets and prepare accordingly before the event.\n– Please make sure you coordinate either in this event page or privately to find a partner to play your set with.\n– If anyone wants to come in early Friday or Thursday night\, I will allow you to play a solo set.\nGrade Weights\nBlue fantastic % out of the total steps only\nH.S Team Battle\n– This is the second edition of the side event for ECFA\, H.S.2.\n– This time\, it will be a team based competition\n– There will be two teams for this event\, and they will be chosen by the team captains who are first and second seed.\n– Your team captains for H.S.2 are Ryan Konkul and Alex Scepansky\n– Team captains will take turns picking teammates in an ABBAABBA order. Team A will be first seed (Ryan)\n– Team drafting and names will begin July 1st 2018\n– Captains are only allowed to choose players within the top 16 or those who plan on being at and attending ECFA 5. This is why we will start the draft on July 1st; final committed top 16 should be completed by then.\n– After the two teams of 5 have been created\, the captains will then alternate picking songs from the HS pack (starting with Alex for first pick)\n– The songs chosen will then be assigned to one of their teammates by the team captain. The opposing team will not know who is being assigned which song that is picked.\n– Each team will choose 5 songs (one for each member of their team)\, and they will be different than the ones chosen from the opposing team (you cannot pick the same song the opposing team already chose)\n– After both teams have picked their 5 unique songs and have privately assigned them to their teammates (this should obviously be done with strategy and conversing with your team before choosing)\, the captains will then assign the songs the opposing teams picked to their teammates.\n– The exception is that the team captains must play each other’s songs they assigned to themselves; in other words\, Ryan will play his pick plus Alex’s pick\, and Alex will play Ryan’s pick and his own.\n– Team members will be playing a song that’s been assigned to them from their team captain via discussion and strategics\, and they will also play a song chosen from the opposing team assigned to them from the captain\n– After both teams have their 2 songs decided (which\, again\, is private information that will be shared only with a non-HS player such as Henry)\, we will draw 5 random songs from the pack that were not selected\n– These 5 songs will again be assigned to the team by the captain so everyone must play 3 songs total.\n– Tldr; if you are a team member\, you will be playing:\nYour teams pick that is assigned to you( exception for team captains must play each other’s picks)\nOpposing teams pick that is assigned to you (exception for team captains must play each other’s picks)\nRandom song drawn that is assigned to you\n– We will only play not play the third songs if the one team is already winning at least 8-2 by that time.\n– Every teammate will get 2 warm up songs before playing\n– The grade weights are listed below\, but all that matters is getting a win or loss over the other team playing the same song as you.\n– Grade weights are:\nTotal fantastics; every 2 misses\, mines\, dropped holds\, or dropped rolls will deduct 1 fantastic\n– This will not necessarily be 1v1\, but rather a gauntlet competition with you just need a better score than your opponent\, as it will not be cumulative DP\n– If you have any questions in regards to this format\, please message me and let me know\, because it’s hard to explain in just this description\nContent\n– The pack and all necessary contents will be hosted from my Google Drive account. This file will include all songs and marathons for Hard FA\, FA+\, H.S.\, and the themes used for both tournaments\, and the qualifiers (in case anyone would still like those)\n– I will also have separate links for the packs individually\n– For Hard FA\, your opponents strength if your number one tie breaker\, followed by total song wins\n– For FA+\, the winners are decided by the best cumulative rank for blue % across all 4 difficulties\n– Top 5 for ECFA will be decided by your combined rank of Hard FA and FA+\, and HS will have it’s own separate ranking\nVenue\n– This will be at my house\, address listed at the top\n– Tentatively\, I have a 20 dollar entry like before to help pay for the housing utilities\, food and drinks I’ll have for the event\, equipment\nfor the event (streaming stuff I may have to acquire\, outdoor stuff\, etc.)\, and the trophies and other prizes (CASH PRIZES)\n– Any other donations would be greatly appreciated but not required\n– The house will also have access to a Pop ‘n Usaneko\, Reflec Beat Reflasia\, ASC for other Bemani Games\, and Pump it up for warm ups\n– Please use street parking and not other peoples drive ways; my drive way should have space for 4 cars total\n– A rule that I can’t stress enough; due to space issues\, please leave unused items and shoes in the basement near the bar area (leave room for the cats to walk!) There is always too little space for everyone\, so we need to conserve as much as possible. Please leave your belongings in the basement area. and showering supplies in the downstairs bathroom storage areas\n– Sleeping arrangements: I will be allowing up to 20 people stay here (subject to change)\, with there also being available space at other locals homes possibly. I will have a few couches to sleep on\, spare bed\, an air mattress\, a futon\, and an entire patio room to use.\nEntrants\n– Anyone who I invited and is in the top 16 list is welcome to come and enter.\n– Spectators and those who are not entering: priority goes to people who have attended previous events and/or would be good substitutions for entering in case of emergencies. You were already invited to the event page\, and I can add more if more people decide they can’t come.\n– If you haven’t been to one and not in top 16 or you have been but are not now and want to come\, please contact me and we will talk about you being here.\nShirts\n– Shirt orders begin whenever you can let me know. I will order them myself and sell them to you at the event. You must tell me a size(s) you intend to purchase in advance.\n– Shirt picture will be made available soon\nOther misc. info.\n– I have a decent stream set up that I will use for the event\, hopefully adding better cameras soon.\n– Anyone with good webcams are welcome to bring them to try to make it even better\n– Outdoor activities (water balloon fights\, slip n slide\, games) will definitely be happening this year again! Please bring suits and whatnot as well as towels\, and feel free to bring other outdoor water stuff/games for us to play\n– There will be lots of table top games over the weekend\, so feel free to bring your own as well!\n– If you need to stay longer than the two nights\, let me know and we will work something out.\nShoutouts\nRyan Gudonis – banners and graphics. Super helpful and dilligent as always\, and I appreciate it greatly\nAlessandro and Mute – Syncing some songs in the pack; definitely much appreciated and it made life a lot easier on me.\nBiB – Pack feedback and general feedback about the event definitely helped me out quite a bit. Thank you for the assistance as always.\nEveryone who made charts for this pack – These are all amazing and you’re all awesome for doing that. Keep making more charts!\nEveryone who keeps attending or participating in ECFA – You guys are all awesome people and I’m glad you’ve all stuck around.\nLet’s make this the best one yet!

DESCRIPTION:About WARS\n16回目。 \nWARS. \nWARS. \n予選課題曲\n[通過人数48名]\nDanceDanceRevolution　(CHALLENGE)\nX-SPECIALではありません\nGroup A\n1回戦 – 4回戦\n1回戦 – PARANOiA MAX -DIRTY MIX- (EXPERT)\n2回戦 – Healing Vision -Angelic mix- (EXPERT)\n3回戦 – Xepher(EXPERT)\n4回戦 – SABER WING Ishihara(EXPERT) / on the bounce(EXPERT) (2曲合計)\nGroup B\n1回戦 – 4回戦\n1回戦 – TRIP MACHINE -luv mix- (EXPERT)\n2回戦 – Sweet Sweet v Magic(EXPERT)\n3回戦 – Pluto Relinquish(DIFFICULT)\n4回戦 – POSSESSION(DIFFICULT) / Pierce the Sky(EXPERT) (2曲合計)\nGroup C\n1回戦 – 4回戦\n1回戦 – Healing Vision(EXPERT)\n2回戦 – xenon (EXPERT)\n3回戦 – Saturn (EXPERT)\n4回戦 – London EVOLVED Ver.A (EXPERT) / SILVER☆DREAM (EXPERT) (2曲合計)\n敗者復活戦\n課題曲当日発表 \n準決勝\nCondor(CHALLENGE)\nIMANOGUILTS(CHALLENGE)\nBoss Rush(DIFFICULT)\n3曲トータルスコア勝負 \n決勝\n各々2曲自選曲の5曲本数制。 \n予選課題曲\n[通過人数24名]\nFascination MAXX (EXPERT)\nGroup A\n1回戦 – 3回戦\n1回戦 – MAX300 (X-Special) (CHALLENGE)\n2回戦 – POSSESSION (EXPERT)\n3回戦 – Astrogazer (CHALLENGE)\nGroup B\n1回戦 – 3回戦\n1回戦 – MAXX UNLIMITED(X-Special) (CHALLENGE)\n2回戦 – Anti Matter (EXPERT)\n3回戦 – Cosy Catastrophe (CHALLENGE)\nGroup C\n1回戦 – 3回戦\n1回戦 – The Legend of MAX(X-Special) (CHALLENGE)\n2回戦 – New Decade (EXPERT)\n3回戦 – Neutrino (CHALLENGE)\n敗者復活戦\n課題曲当日発表 \n決勝 (4名)\n「Revenge on “BOSS RUSH Ver.SN2″」\nPARANOiA -HADES- (CHALLENGE)\nNGO (CHALLENGE)\nTRIP MACHINE PhoeniX (CHALLENGE)\nPluto (CHALLENGE)\nPluto Relinquish (CHALLENGE)\n5曲トータルスコア勝負

SUMMARY:PERFECT STEP SOUND PARTY 2018 THE LAST CONTEST
DESCRIPTION:20th Anniversary – Dance Dance Revolution. \n\n\n \nOld Soldier Exhibition\n\nO.S.E. WARS/PSSP/R.C.A. If we do not get an even number appropriate to swiss\, this will be changed to double elimination\n– The event will be 1v1 using the Swiss format \n– It will be on FA+ or ECFA mode on SM5\n– Swiss format;; in this format\, there will be 4 rounds which all players will compete against another player of the same win/loss ratio \n– During later rounds\, players will never play the same person twice. \n– For example\, after the first round\, everyone will be either 1 to 0 or 0 to 1.\n– For the second round\, the 0 to 1s will be assigned to play one another\, while the 1 to 0s \nwill be assigned to play one another as well\, all based on seeding. \n– The same thing will happen for future rounds\, being that people play each other with the same wins/losses. \n– This format allows for players to never be eliminated\, have the same amount of playing opportunity as everyone else\, and never be stuck playing the same person twice. \n– The higher seed will get choice of song protection\, song veto\, or side (more specifics below) \n– The higher seed will choose first\, then the lower seed will choose one of the remaining two options\, and the third will fall back on the higher seed \n– Song selection (vetoing and protection phase) will be based on card draw. 5 Cards will be drawn\, 2 will be protected first (determined by who decides order)\, and 2 will be \neliminated (also determined by who decides order\, one by each player\, exactly like how storm and other big events are set up) \n– The 5 songs will then be played in the order they are drawn\, best 2 out of 3 the decide winner. \n– I will allow 2 warm up songs (1 song chosen by each player) before each round starts (nothing that exceeds 2 and a half minutes). \n– No mines is permitted \n– Greats\, Decents and way offs will be disabled unless players agree to have them on\n– Hide background and mirror are permitted \n– The packs consists of 12s to 17s\, varying in BPMs ranging from 130 to 220ish\n– You may use CMods for any song\n-If we do not have the ability to do swiss\, we will do double elimination.\n-Scoring is 2 for blue\, 1 for white\, 0 for excellent\, and -1 for each mine hit\, roll/freeze dropped\, or miss\nPure Stamina FA+\n– You will be given a one hour time slot to get as many blue fantastics as you can.\n– This will also be played on FA+ or ECFA mode on SM5\n– You may hold the green button to back out and have your blue fantastics counted. \n– Each song will only be allowed once. \n– Just like 1v1\, greats\, way offs\, and decents may be turned off.\n– Faster rate mods permitted\nFA Set Output\n– Your 6 best scores in a single set are summed up to calculate your final score.\n– Out of those 6 songs\, \n1 must be in the bpm range of [150-160)\n1 must be in the bpm range of [160-170)\n1 must be in the bpm range of [180-190)\n1 must be in the bpm range of [190-200)\n1 must be in the bpm range of [200-220)\nThe last song may be from any bpm range\n– Your score calculation will be similar to MWCSFA2 FA Raw Output calculation.\n– For reference:\nhttps://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Weyimnqyc3nbS5Jj1xiuUxKRraMP0GYHrkaMufj0OqY/edit#gid=1456700467\n– Percentage is exponential. For example:\nIf you get 99.00% you will get around 90% of total possible points for a given song.\nIf you get 95.00% you will get around 60% of total possible points for a given song.\nIf you get 90.00% you will get around 30% of total possible points for a given song.\nPump Raw Output\n– This is a side tournament with Pump it Up. \n– It follows the exact same rules and scoring as the ECS Raw Output sets but played on Pump it Up 5 panel. \n– Will update this with more info later.\nOverall winner\n– Overall Midwest Coast Stamina FA 3 champion will be determined from all of the ITG tournaments. \n– There will be prizes for top 4\, including trophies and cash\n– Placing is determined by the lowest total rank from the 3 ITG tournaments. e.g. 1st + 4th + 3rd = 8 points. \n– Tie breakers are as follows in order of resolution: your best rank in any tournament\, most number of the best ranks\, least worst rank\, fewest worst ranks\, placement in double elimination.\ne.g.\nP1 ranks 1st\, 1st\, 3rd\nP2 ranks 2nd\, 1st\, 2nd\nP1 would win overall.
