DESCRIPTION:Let’s stream together.In the interest of making East Coast Stamina 8 not only a more enjoyable event for both regular attendees and competitors\, but to expand the number of people who can compete\, things are going to be bigger this year. In addition to us hopefully having at least six ITG setups\, we’re working in partnership with Tokyo Attack who will be bringing the following games for spectators to enjoy casually and potentially compete on in side tournaments:\nDANCERUSH STARDOM\nCHUNITHM\nmaimai\nSOUND VOLTEX (2 Cabinets)\npop’n music\njubeat (2 Cabinets)\nDanceDanceRevolution\nPump it Up XX\nBig thanks to Anthony Capobianco for helping to make that possible.\nThere’s also some other fun stuff planned that I can’t announce yet\, but hopefully in the near future I’ll have more to say on that.\nStamina RPG 3\, which functions both as its own tournament and as a qualifier for ECS8\, will start on May 20th\, immediately following the end of ECS7.5 (check that out if you haven’t already! Here’s a link: http://groovestats.com/ECS75/ ). The players who qualify in the top 24 by August 1st will have dedicated slots in ECS8– however\, this year\, there will also be a lower division where ideally we can get at least another 24 people slots to compete. More details on that as the event gets closer (and as I’m more able to gauge interest).\nRegistration for the event won’t go up until we’re a little closer\, but badges will most likely be $30. The dates are 100% confirmed\, however.\nThanks to everyone who has supported ECS over the years. I hope to see all of you in September\, whether you’re competing or not!

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the official event page for Bae5cience 2\, year two of an all girls Pump it Up tournament! This will be the place to find all the info you need for the tournament\, as well as any updates as we get closer to the date. We will be using a PIU LX cabinet running XX 20th Anniversary to hold the tournament\, so it’s best to familiarize yourself with Prime 2 and XX!\nMale spectators are allowed IF they are a significant other or spouse of a participant. Due to space\, we have to limit the amount of spectators. We are bringing back our multi-music game tournament series to find out who is the best music gamer in Maryland!Game tournaments currently planned:\n• beatmania IIDX\n• DanceDanceRevolution\n• jubeat\n• pop’n music\nEntry fee: $8 for one tournament\, $5 for each additional tournament. All machines will be set to free play for the duration of the tournament\, beginning with the announcement of qualifiers.\nFirst\, second\, and third place winners of each tournament will receive 60%\, 40%\, and 20% of that tournament’s entry fees\, respectively.\nBest effort has been made to ensure all games are free of sensor malfunctions. Any report of sensor malfunction during tournament play will be handled at the sole discretion of the tournament organizer. We encourage everyone to arrive early to practice!\nOnce tournaments have begun\, all participants are expected to remain available to play their respective matches. If an entrant is called by a tournament organizer and cannot be located\, the tournament organizer reserves the right to forfeit the match due to absence. It’s intended as a tournament to be run during the summer\, but with the imminent release of A20\, I want to push this installment forward to conclude before the new mix is released.*** \n \n*NOTE* : The tournament organizers have decided to push the tournament back until A20 is released. Please keep up to date with us for start dates. Qualifiers will still be held on DDR A and will start February 9\, and conclude March 23rd.\n\nOkay\, so…what exactly is SSC?\n——————————-\n-SSC is a round-based successive elimination tournament\, split into three divisions (High\, Mid\, Low). The tournament is to be played on DDR A\, no earlier mixes.\n\n-There will be a qualifying period before the first round starts\, and there is no limit to the number of people that can submit qualifiers. However\, only a maximum of 200 will move on\n\n-From there\, your qualifying rank will determine what division you are placed in.\n\nDivision breakdown by capacity\n——————————-\nRank 1-88 : High (top 44% of qualifiers)\nRank 89-152 : Mid (middle 32% of qualifiers)\nRank 153-200 : Low (bottom 24% of qualifiers)\n\n-If less than 200 people qualify\, the percentage rule will stay in place. For example\, if 100 people enter\, then High Division will have 44 entrants\, Mid will have 32\, and Low will have 24.\n\nWhat is the tournament structure?\n——————————-\n-Qualifying begins Saturday\, February 9\, 2019 @ 12:00am Eastern and will run through Saturday\, March 23\, 2019 @ 11:59pm Eastern.\n\n-The main tournament will start on *TBA*. This is to allow the tournament organizers to have time to manage tiebreakers\, sort players\, and determine the difficulty ranges that will be used \n \n*Due to recent info about the projected release date of DDR A20\, the main tournament is going to be pushed back until after its release. We will update when we have more info\, but we are looking at late-May / early-June based on current projection.\n\n-Qualifiers will be two songs. Each round will have two separate songs per division (effectively\, six songs will be announced per round).\n\n-The difficulty range per division will be determined based on qualifier scores.\n\n-The main tournament will last 12 weeks\, with six rounds lasting two weeks each. The ideology of this tournament is to connect and incite further growth within the intermediate/emerging Stamina FA player base by curating an opportunity to compete and grow alongside a group of like-skilled competitors and elite mentors within this In the Groove skill set. YARKSFA competitors will consist of 4 Team Captains and 16 Competitors. Teams will be drafted by the Team Captains into 4 teams of 5 players once the Competitor roster has solidified. \nQualifiers will be held for Competitors to test their Stamina FA skills relative to the qualifier pool. The delineation between Team Captain and Competitor qualifier eligibility is based on objective performance-based metrics presented in the QUALIFIER ELIGIBILITY section of this document. We will seed entrants based on cumulative ranking in their respective pool between the 4 qualifying songs. \nThe tournament will consist of 3 parts: \n1. 1-Hour Solo FA Output\n2. 1-Hour Solo Pure Stamina FA+\n3. 1v1 Head-to-Head Card Draw – Pool Play (Competitor) & Round Robin (Team Captains) \nGiven the locale of this event\, 8 Competitor slots will be reserved for the top 8 seeded New York-local players. The other 8 Competitor slots\, alongside all Team Captain slots\, will be at-large openings. \nPrize support and accolades will be based on the following: \n1. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the first ever arcade tournament at Round 1 SCG\, Silver City Summit\, hosted by System Arcadia. System Arcadia is an event promotion company in the Northeast that has been running events in Massachusetts since 2015. Before System Arcadia however\, its employees have been involved in many of the major rhythm game tournaments and have deep community involvement. In the past\, our crew has worked on the MMG series\, the GUAC and CotC multi-game series\, and many of the rhythm game tournaments that have occurred at anime conventions in the region such as Anime Boston and ConnectiCon over the last several years.Thanks to the graciousness of Round 1\, we are now able to throw you a high-quality event on the newest machines from Japan. We aim to provide the ever-growing rhythm game scene in our region a professional yet entertaining tournament series. For our first event\, we will be running 5 rhythm game tournaments.\n– Dance Dance Revolution Ace\n– Pump It Up Prime 2\n– beatmania IIDX 26 Rootage\n– Sound Voltex IV Heavenly Haven\n– DanceRush Stardom\nYou can find the rulesets for each tournament in the individual event pages on our Smash.GG page here: https://smash.gg/r1scs\nQualifying times: On Friday\, February 22nd\, there will be a couple TO’s present to take down on-site registration and qualifying scores from 6 P.M. to 11 P.M. If you can qualify during this time period\, it will help us with handling registration on Saturday and gives you more time to prep for the tournament. On the day of the event\, you may qualify from 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Each game will have its TO present to take down your scores.\nAll tournaments begin promptly at 1 P.M. and will go until they finish\, with DanceRush starting at 2 P.M. There will be no tournament matches on Sunday. There will be a 30-minute intermission at 6:00 P.M. for a group photo and allow people to get food or take a break from the tournaments.

SUMMARY:Girlpocalypse 2019 Qualifiers
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Girlpocalypse 2019 Qualifiers! This year\, we will be going to a whole new country\, because GIRLS will happen August 16-18th\, in France! \nGIRLS is an international offline tournaments gathering the best female player from all around the world. They will be tested on 3 events: Stamina\, Speed\, and Timing. The best 12 girls will be invited to the main tournament. \nGIRLS qualifiers will serve for 2 purposes : to be used as qualifiers to the GIRLS Tournament\, and to offer enough content so that a lot of girls can participate and have fun in it. \nStamina and Speed will both be composed of 33 songs\, 3 from each difficulty from 10 to 20. The harder the songs you’ll pass\, the more points who will have!\nTiming will be composed of 4 songs from each to 12\, and will measure your ability to get those fantastics. \nSongpack and exact rules will be released on the start of qualifiers\, which will start in few days\, and last until March 2nd. I hope you’ll all ready for this!
