Also the bracketing heavily depends on the participation number as well but for the beginners division since stamina and timing is not really a focused area in that division because you’re still fundamentally learning the game\, usually for intermediates and above\, so for the beginners\, your tournament will be an elimination based bracketing.

Known for featuring a wide array of fighting games\, it attracts a large number of international competitors including renowned players\, casters\, streamers\, and developers. \nDDR A20 PLUS will be a part of the main lineup for the first time since DDR was introduced as a side event in 2018. The tournament will be presented by Rhythm Island PR as part of First Attack 2024 on October 12-13\, 2024. \nEarly Bird registration is available until June 30th\, and a Hotel Block is available at the Hyatt Place Hotel. We hope to capitalize on this opportunity by inviting players from all over the world to the biggest DDR tournament in Puerto Rico!

It will be held on 27 April – 1 May 2024 at KidsCon venue @ Comic Con Cape Town – Cape Town International Convention Centre. We look forward on seeing a diversity of players coming from all different places across South Africa and the world coming to compete in Cape Town. However\, to secure a spot\, participants must already possess a valid Comic Con ticket\, as access to the tournament is contingent upon attending the Comic Con event. \n(Appendix – for more tournament specification for experienced dance gamers): This is an only-accuracy based “DDR fanbase” tournament that will apply ITG principles (as requested from our sponsors). So\, in short terms\, you are being assessed only on ITG technical. DDR is used as a fanbase name since that is how the game is well known for non-players in a mainstream perspective.

Good alternative airport for flying in via Southwest Airlines. it’s about 30 min drive from the venue.\nTRANSPORTATION:\nIf flying into DFW\, you can get a complimentary shuttle for any of the hotels right next to the mall\, although you will likely need to call the hotel ahead of time to arrange for the shuttle.
