If you thought a pandemic closing down clubs across the United States was going to stop us from running a show this year, you are all sorely mistaken. For the first time ever, System Arcadia will be running a web-show to entertain you online instead of the club during these uncertain times.System Arcadia presents Shakunetsu Append, our company’s first web-show live exclusively on Twitch via twitch.tv/systemarcadia. This is going to be a two-night event featuring a whopping 16 acts total from 3 different countries: United States, United Kingdom, and Japan. Each night will begin at 7:30 P.M. EST (8:30 A.M. JST) and run roughly until 2 A.M. EST (15:00 P.M. JST). If you’re an avid beatmania fan, you might have noticed we went with a heavy reference to the PlayStation games GottaMix 1 and 2. We decided that since our webshow is featuring broadcasts from multiple countries that the punchline of GottaMix 2 “Going Global” made a lot of sense. The design work was all done by our long-time friend Mike DeBisco, who has been doing design work for System Arcadia since Shakunetsu 2 in 2016. He has such fantastic talent and if you’re curious to see more of his work, please look up DeBisco on Facebook and Twitter and give him a follow.
