SUMMARY:Girlpocalypse 2017
DESCRIPTION:Structure\n12 girls will be competing in this event. Each player will have two 60 minute sessions play whatever she wants and accumulate points towards specific targets. There are 24 slots throughout the weekend.\nThere are three targets that a player can accumulate points towards – SPEED\, STAMINA\, and TIMING. Each target has a songlist and a formula that takes data from the songs played and scores achieved and assigns points for each target. Scores for SPEED and TIMING can carry between sets\, while STAMINA cannot.\nSetup\nThe tournament will be played on Rhythm Horizon\, a new game from Lama\, LLC. The main characteristics to note are: \nMore lenient lifebar. The lifebar is about two and a half times the size of the lifebar in ITG\, and it behaves differently in response to life-depleting judgments. \nJudgment differences. The top judgment is divided in half (basically a Fantastic and flashing Fantastic) though both are worth the same in terms of score. Additionally\, no judgments subtract score. “Too Early” penalties subtract from life to discourage mashing. \n“Too Early” penalty. The current form of “mash prevention” works by adding an extra 50ms window on the early side of the worst regular judgment (which is currently called “good”). Any arrow hit during that window provides a life penalty equal to that of missing an arrow\, but it can still be triggered for a normal judgment as well. “Too Early” is displayed above the judgment when the penalty is applied. The game allows you to get up to 1 “Too Early” per second without any penalty. That low of a rate is assumed to be misfires\, but higher rates of “Too Earlys” mean likely mashing. \nDifficulty rating calculator. The numerical difficulty rating is calculated within the game\, so all charts will be rated with the same algorithm. The game analyzes patterns and other chart aspects like speed\, note density\, etc to calculate the ratings. \nRules\nPlayers can use whatever mods they like including Cmods\, and No Mines as long as they do not alter the step patterns. For example\, turn mods or no holds are not allowed.\nFailed scores are allowed! Get hauling!\nFacebook Event
