DESCRIPTION:Stamina RPG 7 is an online StepMania competition for the post-ITG community that\, in addition to being a tournament in its own right\, serves as the qualifier for ECS 12. The event focuses on stamina content\, but there is a large amount of footspeed and tech-oriented charts available as well. The difficulty ratings range from 11s to 28s and beyond\, so Stamina RPG is a great tool for personal progression.This event has many special features\, including an unlock system where new songs are available for play both through purchase using earned currency and through the completion of quests. The RPG presents many ways to pursue goals for yourself– and many ways to rank yourself against others.\nInformation on format and rankings for previous Stamina RPG events can be found on Groovestats. DESCRIPTION:Let’s stream together.In the interest of making East Coast Stamina 8 not only a more enjoyable event for both regular attendees and competitors\, but to expand the number of people who can compete\, things are going to be bigger this year. In addition to us hopefully having at least six ITG setups\, we’re working in partnership with Tokyo Attack who will be bringing the following games for spectators to enjoy casually and potentially compete on in side tournaments:\nDANCERUSH STARDOM\nCHUNITHM\nmaimai\nSOUND VOLTEX (2 Cabinets)\npop’n music\njubeat (2 Cabinets)\nDanceDanceRevolution\nPump it Up XX\nBig thanks to Anthony Capobianco for helping to make that possible.\nThere’s also some other fun stuff planned that I can’t announce yet\, but hopefully in the near future I’ll have more to say on that.\nStamina RPG 3\, which functions both as its own tournament and as a qualifier for ECS8\, will start on May 20th\, immediately following the end of ECS7.5 (check that out if you haven’t already! Here’s a link: http://groovestats.com/ECS75/ ). The players who qualify in the top 24 by August 1st will have dedicated slots in ECS8– however\, this year\, there will also be a lower division where ideally we can get at least another 24 people slots to compete. More details on that as the event gets closer (and as I’m more able to gauge interest).\nRegistration for the event won’t go up until we’re a little closer\, but badges will most likely be $30. The dates are 100% confirmed\, however.\nThanks to everyone who has supported ECS over the years. I hope to see all of you in September\, whether you’re competing or not!
