SUMMARY:Bae5cience 2: Rise of the Baes
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the official event page for Bae5cience 2\, year two of an all girls Pump it Up tournament! This will be the place to find all the info you need for the tournament\, as well as any updates as we get closer to the date. I have also created a channel in my discord specifically for Bae5cience where you can post qualifiers\, ask questions\, and discuss all things PIU. You can join here: https://discord.gg/S4evwJYThere will be both a lower division and upper division. We will be using a PIU LX cabinet running XX 20th Anniversary to hold the tournament\, so it’s best to familiarize yourself with Prime 2 and XX!\nMale spectators are allowed IF they are a significant other or spouse of a participant. Due to space\, we have to limit the amount of spectators. This will be live streamed on my official Twitch channel\, which can be found at: http://www.twitch.tv/mrsfiggies\n::QUALIFIERS::\nThere will be 3 songs that each girl must play prior to the tournament. These will consist of 2 singles charts for lower division and 2 doubles charts for upper division. No need to fear! If you are unable to pass some of the songs\, THAT IS OKAY. This is more of an interest commitment for girls as well as a way to gauge your level of skill. If someone falls between lower and upper\, she will be required to play both sets of qualifiers to ensure there is proper placement.\nLOWER:\nCleaner S12\nCsikos Post S13\nNapalm S14\nUPPER:\nRed Swan D20\nLove is a Danger Zone (Cranky Mix) D20\nRenai Yuusha D20\nMUST BE PLAYED ON HJ.\n::FORMAT::\nEvery girl will have a 60 minute set consisting of songs from Prime 1\, Prime 2\, and XX. Shortcut\, Remix\, Freestyle\, Routine\, Co-Op\, and Full songs not allowed. New format will have a full list of songs with points based on scoring. That list will be released one month prior to the tournament.\nLower Division: Songs will consist of S9-S16. All songs will be played on NJ.\nUpper Division: Songs will consist of D17-D26. All songs will be on played on HJ.\n::HOUSE RULES::\n{More details to come}\nUse common sense and be respectful to those who live in the house.\nWe will be able to house individuals. HOWEVER\, if you are allergic to cats\, hate lizards\, or don’t feel comfortable sleeping in the same house as male individuals who live here (note: there’s 3 of them)\, I recommend sharing an Airbnb in the area with other girls. DESCRIPTION:Let’s stream together.In the interest of making East Coast Stamina 8 not only a more enjoyable event for both regular attendees and competitors\, but to expand the number of people who can compete\, things are going to be bigger this year. In addition to us hopefully having at least six ITG setups\, we’re working in partnership with Tokyo Attack who will be bringing the following games for spectators to enjoy casually and potentially compete on in side tournaments:\nDANCERUSH STARDOM\nCHUNITHM\nmaimai\nSOUND VOLTEX (2 Cabinets)\npop’n music\njubeat (2 Cabinets)\nDanceDanceRevolution\nPump it Up XX\nBig thanks to Anthony Capobianco for helping to make that possible.\nThere’s also some other fun stuff planned that I can’t announce yet\, but hopefully in the near future I’ll have more to say on that.\nStamina RPG 3\, which functions both as its own tournament and as a qualifier for ECS8\, will start on May 20th\, immediately following the end of ECS7.5 (check that out if you haven’t already! Here’s a link: http://groovestats.com/ECS75/ ). The players who qualify in the top 24 by August 1st will have dedicated slots in ECS8– however\, this year\, there will also be a lower division where ideally we can get at least another 24 people slots to compete. More details on that as the event gets closer (and as I’m more able to gauge interest).\nRegistration for the event won’t go up until we’re a little closer\, but badges will most likely be $30. The dates are 100% confirmed\, however.\nThanks to everyone who has supported ECS over the years. I hope to see all of you in September\, whether you’re competing or not!
