As DDR arcade cabinets grow older, the parts start to wear down and key components of the game become much more difficult to play with. Usually it’s the stage and the panels, aka pads that take the biggest beating. When people stomp the heck out of the panels every day over the course of several years, routine maintenance is key to keeping the machine working in top shape.
With YouTube being a treasure trove of quick visual information with guides and tutorials on so many topics, some YouTubers have decided to show us some of the methods that they use to mod their panels to make them more sensitive. With sensitive panels, players will require less force with pressing down with their feet as they play, allowing them to perform better and improve the overall experience. Check out what some of the community has done in the videos below!
