L.E.F.T.S is a 4-panel StepMania event usually taking place at Penn State main campus. https://github.com/CrashCringle12/RIGHTS/wiki. This year the event will be at the PGH Dance Game Space.
The event will feature a Singles Event as well as a special Couples Event.
What’s the event like?
LEFTS is the spiritual successor to the D.O.W.N.S. and U.P.S. tournament series, both of which were a fun social weekend, loosely organized around a StepMania tournament. Competitors create new stepcharts specifically for the event. Some people take it seriously and make stepcharts that they’ll be good at. Others submit shitpost-tier stepcharts in the hope that someone will end up having to play it. Some people get very creative with Lua scripting. Overall, it’s a pretty fun time.
When is it?
LEFTS occurs annually on a Saturday+Sunday in January or February. This year it is January 17th – 18th, 2026
