What’s the event like?
RIGHTS is the spiritual successor to the D.O.W.N.S. and U.P.S. tournament series, both of which were a fun social weekend, loosely organized around a StepMania tournament. Competitors create new stepcharts specifically for the event. Some people take it seriously and make stepcharts that they’ll be good at. Others submit shitpost-tier stepcharts in the hope that someone will end up having to play it. Some people get very creative with Lua scripting. Overall, it’s a pretty fun time.
When is it?
RIGHTS occurs annually on a Saturday+Sunday in January or February.
