On January 27th, 2018, we celebrate its roots with a Freestyle revival that will take over center stage at Round1 Arcade in San Jose, California -- the Bay Area’s hotbed for Dance Dance Revolution competition. KAC rules this year kind of blow, but players from all around the globe have already secured travel plans to go to Japan and KAC anyways just to cheer on our friends and have a blast. So I figured hey, if we’ve got all the best players in the world in the same city for a weekend, why not hold a REAL tournament?
With that, I present to you EXTRA EXCLUSIVE. On Sunday, the day after KAC, we will be holding a 32-man double elimination tournament at Eternal Tower in Akihabara (formerly known as Tri-Tower). We will be renting the 8th floor of the building where we will have an entire floor dedicated to DDR A cabs to run and stream the tournament.

Since there hasn't been a tournament in the Ohio scene for a long time, I'm very happy to announce the creation of Hustle Beach 2018!
This tournament will be different in that there will be BONUS POTS. There will be at least $500, upwards of $650, in cash and Amazon gift cards, going towards various Puyo Puyo Tetris and other side tournaments.
ECS6.5 is the eleventh (after ECS1, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, and 6) tournament in the East Coast Stamina series. The objective is to try to clear as many of the hardest stamina charts as you can within the format of the tournament. It is a team tournament, and you may enter it on a team of up to three individuals.
Once again, since this isn't a "main" ECS (like, one of the whole number ones), it's going to be split into an upper and lower division to make it more accessible to a wider range of participants.
